Over the weekend I've been trying out different options

with printing,colouring mediums ect.

I printed of 2 images different affects left one I change the colour by

replace colour which gave it a sepia effect

The stains I used to colour the image these work the same as distress inks and you get

a whole lot more for your money BONUS!
The finished items coloured with these stains, really loving the effect that
you can achieve,I'm going to give away some of these inks so if

you like the effect I'll do a post later today and you might be lucky enough to get a set.

New challenge

Well how excited was I when i saw Rach using these new cuties?

Found where she got them from and bought them then bang!!

I got a sick bug have been sooo ill all week typical,so now feeling better and got the next week to join the 1st challenge PINKS the theme so of to create

Atfternoon to all in blogland,how windy is it outside today?

I saw my beautiful boys this morning Hannah and I went to town with them

They where in the window waiting for me to arrive this morning sooo

excited when I knocked on the door they are growing way to fast but are so cute.

Cute and girly challenge

This months my very first time in taking part so I wanted to do something other than

a card so decided to make a DESIGNER PURSE ALBUM™

I haven't made one for ages and after about 3hrs..

I knew why! Gosh they take aggggeess

to make but, stuck with it and think it turned out ok

The challenge was RED plus another colour

I will add more photo's in the morning just waiting for some glitter to dry .

I used K&CO Wild saffron papers love these papers,inside I added a

packet of sunflower seeds,ready for the summer please hurry up!

MO'S CHALLENGE

The challenge this week was colours,a nice bright colour pallet compared

to the winter blues!

I only managed to get tiny bit of orange with the photo corners

but I managed to do it.

I bought these digi stamps sunday from funkykits and my brain has done over time ever since

I love love them I have messed about on the photoshop chopping changing colour ect..

Sepia works really well gives the image a dirty cream effect saves alot of colouring back grounds to.

This is the fierst of many cards and projects I'm sure.

The stamps are an absolute bargain with so many possibilities.

I'm back !! Where have I been?? not really sure where the times gone.
Well lets fill you in Hannah,Chris and the boys have moved again...
So good old mums been busy redecorating,cleaning ,gardening and playing with the boys.
There new home is just perfect for them bigger and nearer to me.. so i get to see the angels all the time.
Jake and Harry are growing so so fast It's scarey,they'll be 2 December I really dont know where it's gone will post some new pic's very soon for you to see.
Well going to post some projects now so watch this space.

Poor good Tilda gone bad she started of so sweet an angelic and ended up

very devilish ..... but still very cute.

I also decorated a brown paper lunch bag for the chocolates.

The chocolate box was my inspiration for the colours I used.

Wow where does time go????It's been a month since my last post (how bad am I?}
Well I have good reasons, Hannah,Chris and the twins finally moved into there own home
last week,they have flown the nest.....
It's sooo quiet here now and empty I have two other children but still very strange now they have gone ,they only moved 5 mins away so I will see plenty of them
Mornings are the wierdest not getting up and seeing there smiling faces even though I still have a full house I now understand the empty nest syndrome feeling ,bonus side I have much more time to craft now

My First Challenge

THE ORIGINAL SKETCH.

Well here it is the first of many challenges I hope!

I have slightly moved the sketch around but still the same as the sketch.

I had loads of fun doing this one,thanks to the girls at

( just magnolia) for letting me join in.

Here's a look at the stamped images,which I them heat

embossed with chocolate brown,coloured with copic's

Colouring the image was a bit like the velvet art pictures,you

have the raised edges so you don't go out the lines.

The front of the envelope and inside of the card.

Layered up beautiful butterfly wings,

the top layer is vellum and the bottom white cardstock.

Hannah wants to keep there first shoes,the outfits she bought them home in
first christmas outfit.... ect ect the list goes on they have been such lucky boys
Hannahs finding it hard to part with anything....
perhaps I souuld have chosen a bigger item to alter LOL

Here's how the box started,
It was a sauce mix bucket,my husband bought it home from work
for his fishing bait....
I saw it in the boot of our car and knew exactly what I was going to use it for....
Any food or paint container would be just as good.

I just made my mum and DH's mum a couple of little treats to go with there presents for mothering sunday so simple both mums loved them.

redundant punches

As I promised I would show how to make a christmas tree from one of my redundant punches

First cut a tree shape fold your paper in half to get the same shape,then punch out LOADS of leaves and stick them on just slightly over lapping them not to see any colour underneath

Great if you have kids about get them to punch out your leaves my daughter loves it

You can decorate them with gems,laser dots, ric rac, peel offs or liquid applique to make it look like a real snow covered tree.

just finished my first sketch challenge it's Harry he's so so cute big beeming smiles when ever you talk to him... Jake on the other hand is more serious twin he only smiles at the light fixtures LOL I said he may give me a smile if I put a lampshade on my head my DH replied I will if jake doesn't!!!

I made the Christmas tree from a leaf punch I will sort out a demo for this redundant punch and post tomorow hopefully

I had this picture taken about 5 yrs ago,it's one of my favourite my 3 angels (sometimes)

I had it in a gold frame and decided it needed updating.
I only paid £1.00 in a bargain store,£1.29 for the wooden Joy tree decoration and the paper's are cosmo cricket from

my stash.I got a bit carried away and covered 2 wafer tins and filled with sweets no doubt they will be empty soon......

This was one of my favourites I only used 3 colours but it's such a bright lay-out.
